Leif Fortson

Leif Fortson has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Leif most recently worked at Axcient as the Director of Product Management, starting in January 2024. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Product Manager at Axcient, starting in October 2021. Before joining Axcient, Leif worked at Lazydays as the Manager of Business Product Management from August 2020 to October 2021, where they successfully implemented an onboarding plan and mentored product owners. Leif briefly worked at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as an IT Project Manager in July-August 2020. Leif also had an extensive tenure at ConnectWise, where they held various roles, including Product Manager and Manager Quality Assurance, from 2005 to 2020. At ConnectWise, Leif demonstrated their skills in data analysis, product roadmap formulation, QA strategy, and team communication. Prior to their time at ConnectWise, Leif worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Coca-Cola Refreshments, where they developed reporting databases and analyzed financial management processes.

Leif Fortson obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Cybersecurity Management from Saint Leo University in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business in 2005. In addition to their formal education, Leif Fortson has obtained various certifications, including the K1 Advanced Management Program, Federal Acquisition Certification - Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) Level 1, Agile PM 402 - Enterprise-level Agile Project Management, Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate, Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO), Certified Agile Leadership I, Product Management Program, and Certified Scrum Product Owner.
