Amila Gilimalage

Amila Gilimalage is an experienced Attitude and Orbit Control Engineer and Satellite System Engineer at Axelspace Corporation since July 2022. Previously, Amila worked as a Research Assistant at the Asian Institute of Technology from February 2018 to March 2019 and had a brief tenure as a Trainee at Orange Electrics in June 2013. Amila holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tokyo University of Science (2019-2022), a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics from the Asian Institute of Technology (2015-2017), and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics from the same institution (2011-2015). Early education includes a High School Diploma in Mathematics from D.S.Senanayake College, Colombo 7, Sri Lanka (2002-2010), and primary education from Presidents' College, Maharagama, Sri Lanka (1997-2001).
