Axeon SP is a specialty petroleum products company with a proud lineage. Originally part of CITGO Asphalt Refining Company, it was acquired by NuStar Energy LP in 2008 and became a joint venture with Lindsay Goldberg LLC in 2012. In February 2014, the company was purchased outright by Lindsay Goldberg LLC, naming it Axeon Specialty Products.
