Michael Upex

Michael Upex has held a variety of roles in the finance industry over the past 15 years. In 2006, they began their career as a Summer Intern at Braemar Shipbroking Jones Act. Two years later, they were a Portfolio Manager at EFG Bank. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at EFG Asset Management in three different roles: Head of Investment Administration & Risk, Vice President; Global Projects Manager, Assistant Vice President; and Research Analyst, Authorized Officer. In 2020, they became the Managing Partner at West Fourth Partners. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed President & COO of Axero Solutions, a company that provides easy-to-use intranet software.

Michael Upex completed their Baccalauréat at Lycée Janson-de-Sailly from 1998 to 2005, followed by a BSc in Economics at Royal Holloway, University of London from 2005 to 2008. Michael then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from NYU Stern School of Business from 2015 to 2017.
