Mark Watters

Mark Watters has a strong background in sales and trading within the financial industry. Mark co-founded AxeTrading in 2011 and prior to that, they worked as the Head of Fixed Income Sales at TradingScreen from 2010 to 2011. Before that, Mark held the position of Head of Sales for Fixed Income E-Trading at Bloomberg Financial Markets from 2008 to 2010. Mark also worked as an Electronic Trading Sales representative at Bloomberg from 2003 to 2008. Mark began their career in sales at Bloomberg LP in 1993 and stayed there until 2003. Mark gained experience in financial law at Euromoney PLC in 1992 and started their career as a Graduate Trainee at Chase Manhattan Bank in 1988.

Mark Watters attended the International School of Brussels from 1979 to 1984. Mark then went on to study at the International School of Brussels again in 1983 to 1984, where they earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma. After completing their studies at the International School of Brussels, Mark Watters enrolled at the University of Hull in 1984. Mark pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law and Politics, and graduated in 1987. Later that same year, they briefly attended Oriel College, Oxford, where they studied Modern Languages. No specific degree was mentioned for their time at Oriel College.
