Michael Briggs

Michael Briggs currently serves as the Managing Director of AxFlow Oceania, leading a group that unites seven companies in the Fluid Handling industries across New Zealand and Australia. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at ABB from July 2011 to December 2023, culminating in the position of Head of Motion for ABB Australia, where responsibility included overseeing Drives, Traction, Motors, and Generators. Additionally, Michael managed the Australian Drives and Traction business and led national service operations for ABB Drives. Earlier experience includes a role as Service Manager at Dalkia Australia Pty Ltd and as NT Branch Manager and Regional Service Manager at Schneider Electric. Michael holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Business from Swinburne University of Technology and a Diploma of Management from Holmesglen.
