Stéphane Langrand is currently the Responsable de Bureau d’étude at Axians and an Ingénieur structure bois at Burobois. Initially, they were an agrégé in civil engineering in higher education for several years in Île-de-France and Rhône Alpes, before transitioning to a role as an engineer in a precast concrete study office near Lyon. Discovering the potential of wood as a construction material during a specialization internship, they shifted careers 15 years ago to become a wood carpenter-constructor. With extensive experience in both design and practical applications, Stéphane now supports construction projects involving wood structures and roofing, and also teaches structural calculation and building technology at two higher education institutions. They hold a Master's degree in civil engineering, specializing in structures and works, from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
