Jon Cox

Jon (Rylan) Cox is the Technical Director of Analysis at Canvas, bringing 16 years of experience in ground testing and data analysis in fields such as thermal protection systems and hypersonics. They have previously held roles at National Aerospace Solutions, LLC, and Aerospace Testing Alliance, where they focused on failure analysis and turbine engine testing. Jon earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee Space Institute, along with a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Tennessee Technological University, both with outstanding academic records. They also have experience as a graduate and undergraduate research assistant, contributing to various technical projects throughout their career.
