Eric Cardwell

Eric Cardwell has over 24 years of work experience in various roles related to cybersecurity and risk assurance. Eric is currently working as the Vice President of Professional Services at Axio, where they have been since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Cyber Risk Engineering at Axio, starting from July 2020.

Before joining Axio, Eric worked at ABB as the Cyber Security Liaison and Global Cyber Security Practice Leader from October 2017 to July 2020. Eric also held the position of Director of Risk Assurance at PwC from February 2015 to October 2017.

Eric's earlier roles include Senior Manager at Protiviti from September 2013 to February 2015, Senior Project Manager at EPRI from December 2012 to September 2013, and Principal and Cybersecurity Practice Leader at ICF International from November 2009 to December 2012.

Prior to that, they worked at IBM as a Managing Consultant in Security & Privacy from May 2000 to December 2009. Eric's career started as an IT Security Analyst at First American National Bank, where they worked from 1997 to 2000.

Throughout their career, Eric Cardwell has gained extensive experience in cybersecurity, risk assurance, and project management.

Eric Cardwell attended the University of Tennessee at Martin from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Prior to their college education, they attended Gallatin High School, but no specific degree or field of study is provided.
