James Ferguson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. James began their career as a Cart Staff at Bermuda Run Country Club from 2011 to 2013. James then worked as a Research Assistant in the Economics Department at Appalachian State University in 2015. Following this, James joined EMS LINQ, Inc. as a Software Developer, where they contributed to the development of a stable beta application using technologies such as React, Redux, HTML, CSS, VB.Net, C#, and ASP.Net.

In 2019, James co-founded Ressa Work Wear, a company they were involved with until 2021. During this time, they played a leading role in establishing the business. James later joined Briq in 2021 as a Business Development Representative and eventually became a Business Development Team Lead. James then briefly worked at Remote as a Business Development Representative before transitioning to Acrolinx in 2022.

At Acrolinx, James served as an Enterprise Business Development Representative, contributing to the company's transition from selling to technical documentation teams to marketing teams. James was responsible for promoting Acrolinx's software, which helps enterprise companies overcome challenges related to brand voice, content review processes, inconsistent terminology usage, and content clarity.

Currently, James holds the role of Sr. Sales Development Representative at Sybill, where they focus on ensuring comprehensive and accurate notes in the CRM for each deal. James'swork involves minimizing the time spent cross-examining reps on their notes and reviewing calls for relevant points.

Throughout their career, James has acquired a strong skill set in sales development, business development, software development, and team leadership.

James Ferguson attended Appalachian State University from 2013 to 2017. There, they pursued a degree in Modern Business Studies, with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Following their time at the university, James Ferguson enrolled at the Flatiron School in 2017 and completed a program in Full Stack Web Development in 2018.
