Jon Rackham is a seasoned professional in the aerospace industry with extensive experience in life support systems and crew interfaces. Currently serving as the Life Support Systems Manager for Axiom Space, Jon leads a team dedicated to designing and integrating hardware that ensures a habitable environment for crew during extravehicular activities. Previously, as the Crew Systems Hardware Lead, Jon played a crucial role in developing hardware interfaces for the Axiom space station. Prior to Axiom, Jon worked at Jacobs as an xEMU Project Engineer, focusing on the next generation NASA spacesuit's crew control unit, and held a position as an ISS Operations Support Officer at GHG Corporation, supporting the International Space Station Program. Jon's background also includes experience as a Lead Product Engineer at Texas Instruments, where responsibilities encompassed testing microprocessors for electrical defects. Jon earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
