Hadley Malcolm

Hadley Malcolm serves as the Managing Editor for Axios, overseeing local news strategy and coverage in eight key markets since January 2021. Prior to this role, Hadley was the Deputy Managing Editor at Axios Local, where leadership focused on expanding editorial production nationwide, and previously led the editorial strategy during the launch of Axios Local. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior News Editor for theSkimm, where strategic content development was prioritized across multiple platforms and oversight of a team was managed, and as a Business Reporter for USA TODAY, specializing in food and retail coverage. Hadley's foundational experience includes editorial roles at The GW Hatchet and internships with Willamette Week and KOIN-TV. An alumnus of The George Washington University, Hadley graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.
