Linh Ta

Linh Ta is an experienced reporter currently working at Axios as a Des Moines reporter since January 2021. Previously, Linh served as a Politics Reporter for States Newsroom, covering the Iowa Legislature and various state agencies from January 2020 to January 2021. Prior to that role, Linh was a Business Reporter at The Des Moines Register from May 2014 to December 2019, focusing on the retail market and the impacts of national and international trends on Iowa businesses. Linh began a career in journalism as a Breaking News/Multimedia Intern at The Des Moines Register and held the position of Executive Editor at Northern Iowan, overseeing newsroom operations. Linh began in media as News Director at 94.5 KULT, creating news packets for on-air staff. Linh holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Northern Iowa, completed in 2015.
