Matthew Panton

Matthew Panton is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in managing and leading engineering teams across prominent media organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Axios since March 2021, Matthew previously held the position of Director Of Engineering at VICE Media from July 2018 to February 2021, overseeing a team responsible for VICE’s web properties. Matthew's career includes roles as Technical Lead at both Meredith Corporation and Time Inc., along with positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Rodale Inc. and other companies. Matthew holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism from Purchase College, SUNY, and the University at Albany, with a focus on Interactive Media.
