Samuel Robinson

Samuel Robinson is a seasoned journalist currently serving as a local Detroit reporter for Axios since May 2022. Prior to this role, Samuel worked as a Capitol reporter for MLive.com, where coverage focused on the Michigan Legislature, and also held the position of Washtenaw County Government Reporter. Early career experiences include an internship at MLive Media Group and editorial roles at Western Herald, where Samuel was Editor in Chief and Sports Editor. Additional experience includes serving as Public Relations and Outreach Coordinator for Wesley United Methodist Church, involvement with the WMU Football video staff at Western Michigan University, and a sales associate position at Champs Sports. Samuel Robinson earned a degree from Western Michigan University between 2015 and 2020.
