Michael Galat

Michael Galat is a Senior Associate Engineer specializing in Field Test Validation at Caterpillar Inc. since December 2017, focusing on the hydraulic excavator undercarriage. In addition to this role, Michael has worked as a Field Test Engineer at Axis Inc. since August 2014, contributing to the design and development of large track-type tractor undercarriage products for Caterpillar, including the D9, D10, and D11 models. Prior experience includes serving as an Engineering Intern in the Aftertreatment and Cooling Products Division at Caterpillar from June 2012 to December 2014, where Michael developed design guides and engaged in data analysis.
