Alex Björling

Alex Björling is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in scientific research and imaging techniques. Currently serving as a Product Imaging Engineer at Axis Communications since February 2023, Alex previously held roles as a Postdoc in Neutron and X-ray User Support at the University of Copenhagen and as a Scientist at MAX IV Laboratory, specializing in Coherent Diffractive Imaging and ptychography. Alex also worked as a Beamline Scientist at NanoMAX while completing a PhD in biophysics at the University of Gothenburg, focusing on time-resolved studies of proteins. Earlier research included a Marie Curie Early Stage position at the University of Alicante, investigating Pt/water interfaces and producing significant publications. Alex holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Gothenburg and has educational background in Development Economics from Lund University and the University of Gothenburg.
