Åsa Strömblad

Åsa Strömblad has extensive experience in operations and product development within the technology and automotive sectors. Since March 2009, Åsa has served as Director of Global Industrialization at Axis Communications, overseeing operations to ensure high-quality mass production of products. Previous roles include Interim General Manager of Axis Ex AB, Director of the Product Specialist department, Engineering Manager, and Project Manager, responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives. Prior to Axis Communications, Åsa held various positions at Volvo Car Corporation, including R&D Program Manager for climate control systems and strategic purchasing roles, as well as a Manufacturing Engineer at Saab Automobile AB. Åsa's educational background includes an M.Sc.ME in Mechanical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and executive education from the Stockholm School of Economics.
