Mikael Nilsson

Mikael Nilsson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software development and management, currently serving as Analytics Data Content Manager at Axis Communications since November 2016, where responsibilities include leading the development of retail analytic applications. Prior to this, Mikael held the position of CTO at Cognimatics AB until its acquisition by Axis. With a strong background at Ericsson AB, Mikael served in various roles, including System Architect and Technical Manager, focusing on system analysis, design, and agile project methodologies. Prior military service includes an officer role in the Swedish Armed Forces, alongside academic experience as a lecturer in automatic control and programming at Lund Technical University. Mikael holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and is also trained as an Army Officer.
