Thomas Ekdahl is an experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering, with a career spanning several key roles in innovation and project management. Currently serving as Innovation Manager for Product Concepts & New Ideas at Axis Communications since June 2011, Thomas leads a cross-functional Front End Innovation team focused on developing new products and services for the future of network video technology. Prior to this role, Thomas managed global systems engineering methodology at Tetra Pak from October 2009 to May 2011 and held various positions at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications from January 2002 to September 2009. Early career experience includes serving as Technical Manager for Advanced Baseband Design at Ericsson from October 1997 to December 2001. Thomas holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and Lund Institute of Technology, earned from 1993 to 1997.
