Cyril Caillo

Cyril Caillo currently serves as the Head of LAH - International at AXIS Capital, a position held since November 2011, overseeing Life and Accident for various regions including Spain, Portugal, Benelux, Scandinavia, and Latin America. Prior to this, Cyril held the role of Head of Markets for Spain, Portugal, and South America at PartnerRe from June 2009 to October 2011, managing Life, Accident, and Health reinsurance in Iberian and Latin American markets. From February 2000 to June 2009, Cyril worked at XL Catlin as the Head of the Life Madrid office, focusing on Life & PA Reinsurance across Spain, Portugal, and Latin America, alongside responsibilities as a Business Developer for the region. The initial experience in the insurance industry began at MMA Assurances as an Actuary for Latin American markets, specializing in Non-Life pricing from November 1998 to February 2000. Cyril holds a degree in Actuarial Sciences from EURIA, obtained from 1995 to 1998.
