Daniel Osterrieder

Daniel Osterrieder serves as the Head of Casualty North America at AXIS Capital, overseeing various casualty lines including General Liability and Workers Compensation since March 2019. Prior to this role, Daniel held multiple positions at Swiss Re from August 2009 to February 2019, culminating as Senior Vice President and Key Account Manager, where responsibilities included underwriting and reinsurance costing for a diverse portfolio. Daniel began a professional career in underwriting at AIG and gained experience in client management through positions at Willis. Daniel holds a B.S. in Marketing with a minor in International Business from Penn State University and has also pursued studies at the University of Galway.
