Melchior Schellinck

Melchior Schellinck began their work experience as a Legal Intern at Clyde & Co LLP in 2011. Melchior then worked as a Junior Associate at Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they joined the Law firm Lingier & Goeseels as an Associate from 2014 to 2016. Melchior then worked at AVIABEL as an Assistant Head of Legal & Claims from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Legal & Aviation Claims at AXIS (AXIS Capital) since December 2018.

Melchior Schellinck has a Master's degree in International and European Law from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, which they earned from 2005 to 2010. Melchior also holds a LL.M. in International Maritime Law & Carriage by Air from the University of Southampton, completed in 2011. Additionally, from 2008 to 2009, they studied Swiss and international law at Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg.
