Scott MacDonald

Scott MacDonald has over 25 years of work experience in software engineering and architecture. Scott most recently worked at AXIS Capital as a Senior Application Delivery Lead, where they designed and implemented a C# based Reinsurance CAT Portfolio Accumulation platform. Prior to that, they worked at Analyze Re as a Senior Software Architect for almost seven years. Scott also has experience at Flagstone Reinsurance Holdings Ltd., Infointeractive, AOL, and Nortel Networks, where they held various software engineering and architecture roles.

Scott MacDonald has a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Acadia University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1997. Scott also completed various courses and certifications in software engineering and architecture. Scott attended the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in 2008 and 2011, where they obtained certifications in Software Product Lines and Software Architecture: Principles and Practices, respectively. In 2010, Scott received training in Managing Teams and Projects, and in 2020, they obtained the Entry Level Coach certification from Canada Ski Cross/Alpine Canada Alpin.
