Liya Wang

Liya Wang is a computational biologist with extensive experience in bioinformatics and data science. They have served as Bioinformatics Director at Axle Informatics since 2023 and currently hold a position as Bioinformatics Lead at the National Institutes of Health, overseeing the CHI bioinformatics team. Previously, Liya managed computational science projects at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and directed bioinformatics at AtlasXomics Inc., where they developed various tools for spatial Epigenomics. Liya's academic background includes pursuing a Ph.D. in Biophysics and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China.
