Johnny Garcia

Johnny Garcia is a Microfabrication Intern at Axoft since September 2025, focusing on the development of advanced neural probes. Previously, Johnny served as a Research Assistant II at Harvard University, gaining expertise in fabricating nanoelectrode arrays and operating various microfabrication equipment. Experience as a Thin Film Deposition Technician at Nuclera involved depositing dielectric and polymer-based thin films, while a role as a Fabrication Technician 4 at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. included processing silicon and GaAs substrates. At the MIT Koch Institute, Johnny implemented in-vitro and in-vivo experiments for drug delivery, and leadership roles in Dr. Seiler's Lab encompassed gene expression analysis and Optical Coherence Tomography studies. Johnny’s educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from UC Irvine and ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering at Bunker Hill Community College and Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University.
