Katie Shoemaker

Katie Shoemaker is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in manufacturing and process engineering, currently serving as Staff Engineer I at Axogen since November 2020, where responsibilities have included overseeing multiple projects and cross-functional collaboration. Prior experience also at Axogen includes roles as Project Manager and Manufacturing Process Engineer. At Silfex, Inc., significant accomplishments included optimizing process parameters and leading cross-functional teams. Academic training includes a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dayton, complemented by research and international internships focused on water filtration technologies.
