Nathaniel Long

Nathaniel Long has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in the operations and engineering fields. Nathaniel started their career in 2003 as an Engineering Intern at General Motors and continued to work in different intern and engineering positions at the company until 2006. In 2006, they joined RTI Biologics as a Staff Process Development Engineer, where they worked until 2013. From 2013 to 2017, Nathaniel worked at RTI Surgical, first as a Manager of Process Development Engineering, then as a Senior Manager of Technical Transfer, and finally as the Director of Technology Transfer. In 2016, they also volunteered as a Parent Representative at the School Board of Alachua County. Since 2017, Nathaniel has been working at Axogen, where they held positions such as Continuous Improvement Manager, Director of Manufacturing Engineering, and most recently, Senior Director of Operations.

Nathaniel Long pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, completing their education between 1999 and 2005.
