Steven Broadbent

Steven Broadbent has worked for a variety of companies since 2013, starting with a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Newcastle University. Steven then worked as an Initial Teacher Trainee and NQT Physics Teacher at Cramlington Learning Village from 2014 to 2016, followed by a Physics Teacher role at WHICKHAM SCHOOL AND SPORTS COLLEGE in 2017. In the same year, they also worked as a Supply Teacher for Teaching Personnel, Vision for Education, and First Class Supply. In 2018, they worked as a Maths & IT Teacher (SEN School) at Hope Wood Academy, a Physics Teacher at St Cuthbert's Catholic High School, and an Electrophysiologist and Senior Scientific Support Manager at Axol Bioscience Ltd.

Steven Broadbent has a diverse educational background. Steven completed a BSc(Hons) in Pharmacology (Sandwich) from the University of Sunderland, between 1996 and 2000. Steven then went on to obtain an MSc in Neuroscience from UCL in 2001, followed by a PhD in Pharmacology from UCL in 2005. In 2014, they earned a PGCE in Secondary Education and Teaching from Newcastle University. Theirsecondary education was completed at King's School, Tynemouth.
