Stuart Prime

Stuart Prime has over 19 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as a Bioreactor Scientist at Pfizer, Sandwich, Cell Culture. In this role, they were responsible for planning and executing cell culture studies and managing 2-10L bioreactors. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Reagent Provision Cell Culture Development Scientist at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. In this role, they were responsible for designing fit for purpose cell lines, specializing in ion channel development and cell line construction and adaptation. In this role, they were an exploratory scientist focusing on early phase phenotypic targets and protein/protein interactions. Since 2018, they have been working as Research & Development Director, Stem Cell Biologist, and Head of Product Innovation (R&D) at Axol Bioscience Ltd. In this role, they lead and manages a team to spearhead and drive research & development for new product innovation strategies of human stem cell product lines.

Stuart Prime attended De Montfort University from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a BSc Applied in Biology / Toxicology; Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and Human Biology. Stuart then attended UCL from 2002 to 2005, although no degree or field of study information is available. In July 2022, they obtained a CMI Level 7 Senior Leadership Programme from In Professional Development (INPD).
