Christopher Reed is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in both public service and private practice. Currently serving as Senior Counsel for TASER at Axon since April 2024, Reed has previously held positions such as Senior Manager of Employee & Labor Relations at Exelon and Assistant General Counsel for the Chicago Fire Department while also contributing as Senior Staff Attorney with the Civilian Office of Police Accountability. Earlier in the career, Reed worked as an Assistant State Attorney at both the Cook County and Will County State’s Attorney's Offices, specializing in criminal prosecution, and served as an Assistant Public Defender in Winnebago County. Reed's legal journey began with an Associate Attorney role at Birnbaum, Haddon, Gelfman & Arnoux LLC, following a Judicial Externship with the United States Courts. Educated at Loyola University Chicago School of Law with a J.D. and the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Journalism, English, and Business Management, Reed brings a well-rounded perspective to legal practice.
