Dani Ortiz

Dani Ortiz is a Senior Master Instructor at Axon, where they specialize in TASER instruction and body-worn camera training, and serve on the Axon Training Advisory Board. With over 25 years of experience in law enforcement, corrections, and parole, Dani has designed and delivered training programs focused on use of force, firearms, and defensive tactics. Previously, they worked as a Detention Officer at the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and served as a Training Officer for the Arizona Department of Corrections before retiring in 2021. Dani is dedicated to equipping officers and trainers with essential skills and fosters a training environment built on integrity and purpose.
