Deanna Cantrell

Deanna Cantrell is an experienced law enforcement and leadership professional currently serving as Director of Law Enforcement Partnerships at Axon since March 2024. With a robust background in training and development consultancy at Leadershiplearner.com and leadership development at California State University, Long Beach, both starting in January 2023, Deanna is also a board member of Police2Peace and has held significant roles including Executive Recruiter at Bob Murray & Associates and President of the Women Leaders in Law Enforcement Foundation. Previously, Deanna was Chief of Police for the City of Fairfield, California, and Chief of Police for the City of San Luis Obispo, overseeing various law enforcement initiatives. Deanna’s extensive tenure at Mesa Police Department includes roles from Police Officer to Assistant Chief, focusing on administrative oversight and special operations. Deanna holds a BS in Education and a Master's in Administration from Northern Arizona University, and has completed executive management training through California POST and Northwestern University.
