Esa Borg

Esa Borg has extensive experience in software engineering, currently serving as an Imaging Software Engineer at Axon since September 2025. Prior to this role, Esa spent a decade at Valmet, where responsibilities included positions as Chief Design Engineer and Software Design Engineer. Additional experience includes roles as a Software Design Engineer at Kielisoft, a Thesis Worker and Trainee at Metso Automation, and a System Specialist at the University of Tampere. Earlier career stages involved software development at Demola and web development at the University of Tampere. Esa holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Automation and Information Technology from Tampere University of Technology, completed in 2012.
