Jeff Schmidt

Jeff Schmidt is a seasoned legal and strategic executive currently serving as Vice President of Corporate, Commercial & Privacy Legal at Axon, a leader in global public safety technology. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Director and Associate General Counsel at HashiCorp, where they guided the company through its IPO and managed key legal functions. Jeff also accumulated extensive experience at prominent firms, including Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, and held legal roles at Apple and Zynga. They earned dual bachelor's degrees with distinction in International Relations and Commerce from The University of Calgary, followed by a J.D. from Duke University School of Law.
