John Watson currently serves as a Strategic Account Executive for Major Accounts in Real Time Awareness at Axon, a position obtained following the acquisition of Fūsus in February 2024. Previously, John held the title of Vice President of Sales at Fūsus, leading the company to over 600% growth in annual recurring revenue and achieving recognition as the 70th fastest-growing private company in America by Inc. magazine. Prior to Fūsus, John worked as a Business Manager and Sales Representative at Utility, Inc., and spent over 16 years with the West Lafayette Police Department in various roles, including Division Captain, where responsibilities encompassed leadership, budgeting, training, and project management. John has completed higher education at several institutions, earning a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Indiana State University and an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Vincennes University, along with executive training from the FBI National Academy and Northwestern University.
