Luca Cellamare is an experienced AI Research Scientist at Axon since February 2024, previously serving as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Fūsus where expertise was applied in developing AI and Computer Vision solutions for live video stream analysis. Prior to this role, Luca was a Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago and implemented systems for data collection and financial entity linkage. Earlier experiences include working as a Computer Vision Engineer at OneVision+, where object detection algorithms were implemented, and as a Research Scholar at NECSTLab, where a sleep monitoring system was developed. Luca holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from both the University of Illinois Chicago and Politecnico di Milano, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
