Marcus Beach, MPA, is the Associate Director of Wrongful Conviction Awareness and Avoidance at the University of Illinois Springfield. Marcus has extensive experience in the public safety industry, having served as a Patrol Sergeant for the Village of Rantoul until retirement in 2023. They are also the Owner of MB Training Consultants, LLC and a Senior Master Instructor at Axon. Marcus’s academic achievements include an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies, and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Illinois.
