Matthew Hanson

Matthew Hanson is a senior engineering leader currently serving as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Axon, where they lead Cloud Engineering in the Connected Devices organization. Previously, they held multiple leadership roles at Amazon, overseeing significant projects such as the Kindle Fire and Alexa Smart Home platform. Matthew has also contributed to major tech companies like Apple, where they integrated ChatGPT with Siri, and Twitter, where they managed the client-side ad rendering platform. They earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
