Shuoxin Lin

Shuoxin (Allen) Lin is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Axon since August 2022, focusing on Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) development and privacy-preserving machine learning methods. Previously, Shuoxin served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Apple from January 2017 to July 2022, where expertise was applied in developing machine learning models and algorithms for CoreML, particularly for computer vision and natural language processing on edge devices. Shuoxin's experience also includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, achieving significant performance improvements in an OFDM transceiver system, and receiving the University of Maryland Distinguished Teaching Assistant of the Year Award in 2013. Other notable positions include a Machine Learning Scientist Intern at Amazon and a Research Intern at MERL, contributing to advancements in image processing, machine learning algorithms, and real-time deep learning systems. Shuoxin holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Zhejiang University.
