Yi Chen

Yi Chen is currently the Senior Director and Head of Neuropharmacology at Axonis Therapeutics, where they lead a team of scientists in neuroscience drug development. Previously, Yi served as the Director at Myrobalan Therapeutics, guiding the discovery process and managing multi-disciplinary teams. They have a rich history in the field, including roles as a Senior Scientist and Scientist II at Biogen, where they led a gene therapy program and managed cross-functional teams. Yi also held positions as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and conducted significant research during their time as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA. Yi holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from Tsinghua University and a PhD in Biological Chemistry from UCLA.
