Thomas Constantine

EVP, Chief Credit Officer at Axos

Thomas Constantine is currently the EVP, Chief Credit Officer at Axos. Thomas has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry.

Constantine started their career in 2001 as a Vice President at George Elkins Mortgage Banking Company where they originated and serviced permanent financing on commercial, industrial, and multifamily properties. In 2003, they transitioned to the Office of Thrift Supervision as a Senior Examiner. There, they conducted on-site examinations of thrift institutions, their holding companies and affiliates; reviewing financial records, operations, adequacy of management, interest rate risk practices, appraisal policies, and systems and controls.

In 2010, Constantine joined Axos as the EVP, Chief Credit Officer. In this role, they are responsible for managing the credit risk for the entire organization which includes approving loans, setting credit policies and limits, and overseeing the loan portfolio.

Thomas Constantine's educational career began at Junipero Serra High School. Thomas then went on to study business economics with an accounting emphasis at UC Santa Barbara, where they earned their bachelor's degree.

Thomas Constantine reports to Gregory Garrabrants, President & CEO. They are on a team with Raymond D. Matsumoto - EVP, COO, David Park - EVP, Commercial Banking & Treasury Management, and Eshel Bar-Adon - EVP, Specialty Finance & Chief Legal Officer.
