Melanie Derde

Melanie Derde is the Head of Bioconjugation Operations at Axplora, a role they have held since 2023. Previously, they worked at Novasep, focusing on ADC method development and bioconjugation analytics, and served in R&D at EQUIBIOTECH, where they explored the valorization of bio-active peptides and proteins. Melanie began their career with a research internship at Lotus Bakeries and completed their education with a PhD in Food Science from Agrocampus Ouest, following a Bio-engineering degree from Universiteit Gent, where they graduated with the highest distinction.
