Simon Rüegger

Simon Rüegger is currently serving as the Group Business Continuity Manager at Axpo Group since September 2022, where the focus is on enhancing the Business Continuity Management program across the organization. Prior to this role, Simon Rüegger held various positions at EY from October 2011 to May 2022, including Assistant Director of Security Risk Management, where responsibilities included leading corporate security functions for Switzerland and Austria and overseeing the BCM and Insider Threat Programs for EYs Europe West region. Additional roles at EY encompassed managing initiatives related to Emergency Preparedness, Business Continuity, and Compliance. Simon Rüegger's educational background includes a Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP) from the International Security Management Institute, a MAS in Business Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Controlling & Accounting.
