John Boer has diverse work experience in the ticketing and client services industry. From September 2021 to October 2022, they worked at AXS as a Client Services Lead, providing technical support and advisory services to clients nationwide. Prior to that, John was a Client Services Specialist at AXS.
From 2017 to 2020, John was employed at the Houston Dynamo Football Club as a Manager - Ticket Operations - Box Office. In this role, they oversaw ticketing operations for various events, managed staff, and handled CRM operations and analytics.
Earlier in their career, John worked at the Houston Rockets, serving as a Ticket Operations Coordinator from 2015 to 2017. John was responsible for organizing and maintaining ticketed concert events, managing the box office during third-party events, and assisting with the team's ticketing needs and financial reporting. Prior to that, they worked as a Ticket Resolutions Agent from 2012 to 2015, providing customer support and troubleshooting ticketing issues.
In 2014, John also worked as a Ticket Operations Specialist for AXS (formerly Veritix), specifically for the NCAA Men's Final Four event.
John Boer received their Data Analytics and Visualization Certification from Rice University Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a major in Marketing from the University of Houston, where they studied from 2012 to 2015.
