Melissa Korc

Melissa Korc has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Melissa began their career as a Student Equipment Manager at the University of Arizona in 2002. After that, they worked as a Sports Marketing Intern for Baseball at the University of California, Irvine in 2006. From 2007 to 2008, they took on the role of Tournament Intern at PGA TOUR. In 2005, they worked as a Sales Associate at Nike and as a Barista/Shift Supervisor at Starbucks Coffee Company. Melissa then joined the University of California, Riverside as the Director of Tickets & Fan Experience (Sales) from 2008 to 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Ticket Operations Manager at the Los Angeles Sparks. Melissa then moved to Outbox Technology in 2014 and served as a Client Services Specialist for a short period. Melissa also joined AXS in the same year and took on various roles such as Training and Documentation Specialist, Training Manager, and currently as a Business Analyst. In their roles at AXS, they specialize in delivering product training, developing new hire on-boarding training processes, analyzing training hours, and enhancing aptitude measurements. Melissa's work experience showcases their expertise in training, sales, client services, and management.

Melissa Korc's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Arizona, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. Melissa then pursued a Master of Science degree in Sport Administration at the University of Miami from 2006 to 2008. In 2014 to 2017, Melissa attended Washington State University to earn their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Melissa has obtained various certifications. Melissa completed the Inclusive and Ethical Leadership Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in December 2021. In May 2021, they also obtained the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the same institution. Furthermore, Melissa earned a Training Certificate from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in July 2015.
