Yuju Ahn

Yuju Ahn is a Research Data Scientist at UCL, affiliated with the Alan Turing Institute, focusing on multimodal deep learning for head and neck squamous cell cancer datasets. Prior experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at AxTalis, where analyses were conducted on real-world disease, patient characteristics, and treatment patterns in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia patients. Yuju Ahn also completed a Studentship at AstraZeneca, concentrating on explainable AI for medical image analysis and exploring the implications of General Data Protection Regulation laws related to automated decision-making in clinical settings. Earlier experiences include a Research Intern position at Ghent University and roles at Chadwick International School and Ghent University Korea. Yuju Ahn holds a Master of Science in Health Data Analytics and Machine Learning from Imperial College London and a degree from Ghent University, along with a Visiting Student Programme at The University of Sheffield.
