Mateus Dalponte

Mateus Dalponte has a diverse range of professional experience across various industries and roles. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Visiting PHD Student at Rutgers University, followed by another Visiting PHD Student role from 2007 to 2007. In 2009, they transitioned to Silicon Solar Cell Production at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, where they worked until 2009. Mateus then moved to Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, working as a Research Post-doc in the Laboratory of Nanometric Conformation from 2010 to 2010. Mateus also had a role as an Oceanographic Instruments Technologist at Marinha do Brasil from 2010 to 2011. Continuing their career, Mateus became the Manager of the Managed Services team at Axur from 2011 to 2017, where they were involved in customer-facing services, online fraud detection, and brand protection. Following this, they transitioned to the role of Business Data Analysis at Axur from 2017 to 2017, where they collected and analyzed business data to create and monitor KPIs. Currently, Mateus is the Head of Data Science at Axur, responsible for leading the data science and machine learning team in implementing ML techniques for process optimization and data analysis across various products. Overall, Mateus has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, and managing teams.

Mateus Dalponte has a strong educational background in the field of physics and economics. Mateus began their academic journey in 1998 at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics in 2002. Following this, Mateus pursued further studies at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Semiconductor Physics in 2004. Mateus then continued their academic pursuits and completed their PhD in Semiconductor Physics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 2008.

After completing their PhD, Mateus decided to diversify their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Post-MBA in Services Strategic Management at Unisinos in 2014. This provided him with a broader understanding of business and management principles.

Mateus Dalponte returned to the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 2015 to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Mateus successfully completed this program in 2019, further enhancing their expertise in the field.
