John Shugrue

Director Of Engineering at Axus Technology

John Shugrue has extensive work experience in engineering and education. John started their career in 1984 as a Senior Instructor/Engineer at Eaton Ion Beam Systems. In 1987, they worked as a Senior Instructor at Associated Technical College. From 1988 to 1998, John served as the Director of Engineering at Lam Research. In 2000, they joined Novellus Systems as the Senior Director of Engineering, a role they held until 2005. John then started their own company, Shugrue Contracting LLC, where they worked as the Owner from 2005 to 2011. In 2011, they became the Director of Engineering at ASM, a position they held until 2018. Currently, John is the Director of Engineering at Axus Technology, starting in July 2018.

From 1983 to 1984, John Shugrue attended GTE Sylvania Technical School, which was later acquired by Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. John received a Certificate in Computer Electronics during their time at the school.
