Wei Kong

Wei Kong possesses extensive experience in engineering and cloud services, currently managing the GCP cloud infrastructure team at Uber since July 2018. Prior to this role, Wei served as Director of Engineering for Cloud Services at Axway, focusing on the Axway Amplify platform, and held the same title at Appcelerator where efforts were directed towards scaling mobile backend services for developers. Wei co-founded Cocoafish, developing a mobile backend to facilitate database access for mobile developers, and began a career as a Senior Software Engineer at Searchme, contributing to an image search index. Wei holds a BS in Computer Science & Engineering from Zhejiang University and a Master of Science from the University of San Francisco.
